Professor Axel Klein appointed as the second associate faculty member of University of Birjand

In a meeting, Dr. Ahmad Khamesan, President of University of Birjand, assigned University of Cologne Full professor, Axel Klein, as the second associate faculty member of University of Birjand. Professor Klein mentioned the potentials of University of Birjand and expressed his hope that these strengths would be the foundation based on which mutual collaboration in research and education can take place between the two universities.

Dr. Khamesan mentioned that international scientific collaboration plays a vital role for the University of Birjand, and he thanked Professor Klein for accepting the invitation of University of Birjand. Dr. Khamesan expressed his hope that by inviting more associate faculty members to our university, we would be able to enhance international scientific collaboration more than before.

Dr. Hossein Navidinia, Director of International Scientific Collaboration Office of University of Birjand, explained about the visits made and workshops held by Professor Klein in the university and talked about the principles based on which the university would be able to increase international scientific collaboration.
