Mission and Vision

Creating a bridge to connect to the international community of foreign experts and researchers is an indispensable task which distinctly clarifies the necessity of establishing an international scientific collaboration office. Providing information about the available study and research opportunities in universities and research centers around the world, establishing relations with international organizations, academia and researchers, translation of all the necessary information and data for the various units at the institute, signing mutual collaboration agreements with universities and research centers abroad, … are some of the responsibilities of the International Scientific Collaboration Office.

Internationalization of Higher Education, as one primary goal set by Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, has also been a means to improve the quality of education. To make the most out of the opportunities for communication and cooperation with universities and scientists around the world, the International Scientific Collaboration Office of the University of Birjand, is ambitiously trying to fulfill its responsibilities as follows:

• Developing mutual collaboration and academic exchange between University of Birjand and other universities around the world on the purpose of expanding international research projects and joint courses of study with a special emphasis on international funding opportunities
• Planning and managing the affairs related to holding international conferences and seminars
• Promoting the academic and research status of the university at international levels
• Providing enthusiastic students, faculty memebrs and all academic staff with a wide range of international research opprtunities
• Preparing a dynamic research environment together with creative researchers of the University of Birjand and international scholars all over the world 
• Coordinating matters related to foreign professors and students at the university.
• Provideing both students and professors with opportunities to Internationally explore their fields of research interest and facilitates in order to expand their international academic collaboration
• Translating letters, publications and scientific materials in Persian and foreign languages ​​required by the university and its affiliated research institutes
• Preparing memorandums of scientific cooperation with universities and research institutes abroad and membership in international scientific forums
