Birjand University Shines at University International Sports Festival with Two Bronze Medals

University of Birjand proudly announced the outstanding achievements of its students at the University International Sports Festival held in Yekaterinburg, Russia. Among the highlights was Ms. Mahdeseh Shokhmaghr, a dedicated bachelor's student, who clinched a bronze medal in the Taekwondo competition, marking her remarkable success on the global stage.

The University International Sports Festival, which saw the participation of students from nearly 300 universities representing 38 countries worldwide, including ten universities from Iran, showcased the exceptional talent and determination of young athletes. Hossein NavidiNia, the Head of the International Scientific Cooperation Office at Birjand University, shared his insights on this international gathering of student-athletes.
