University Executive Board
Duties and Responsibilities of the University Executive Board
- Active participation and collaboration in formulating the university’s strategic plans based on the national vision document, development programs, the Comprehensive Scientific Map of the country, and the ministerial plans submitted to the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Parliament) for presentation and approval by the Board of Trustees;
- Providing the necessary foundations for the realization of the goals outlined in the university’s strategic plans;
- Creating suitable conditions for the implementation of resolutions of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, the Board of Trustees, regulations, and directives issued by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology and other competent authorities;
- Reviewing bylaws, organizational structures, guidelines, procedures, meeting agendas, and other materials presented by the university’s vice chancellors and councils for submission to the Board of Trustees or other competent authorities;
- Proposing the university’s annual budget to the Board of Trustees through the university president;
- Diversifying the university’s financial resources by attracting public donations and increasing dedicated revenues through educational, research, technological, cultural services, and other sources, following necessary approvals from the Board of Trustees or other competent authorities;
- Proposing the distribution and allocation of study opportunities and short-term educational and research courses, both domestic and international, in accordance with regulations, for academic and research staff, to the Ministry via the university's executive board;
- Reviewing and approving proposals related to educational, cultural, social, political, and physical education activities, as scheduled in the university’s annual calendar;
- Monitoring and following up on reports concerning educational, cultural, political, and security matters in coordination with other relevant agencies until a resolution is achieved;
- Reviewing and assessing how decisions made by the university's executive board are implemented by subordinate units and supervising their performance;
- Evaluating the performance of various university departments and reviewing periodic reports in the University Council;
- Establishing the necessary coordination among different university departments.
