University of Birjand’s Journal Maintains Q3 Ranking in Scopus 2025

Birjand, Iran — The international Journal of Horticulture and Postharvest Research, owned by the University of Birjand, has successfully maintained its Q3 ranking in the latest 2025 evaluation by the prestigious Scopus database, solidifying its position among globally indexed scientific journals.

According to the University of Birjand’s Public Relations and Information Office, Dr. Marziyeh Saghabjoo, Vice President for Research, Technology, and Innovation, announced the positive outcome. The journal retained its Q3 status in the 2025 Scopus assessment, the same as in 2024, demonstrating the sustained quality of its publications on the international stage.

The Journal of Horticulture and Postharvest Research is an English-language publication owned by the University of Birjand. Dr. Farid Moradinezhad, Professor in the Department of Plant Protection at the University of Birjand, serves as its Editor-in-Chief and Responsible Manager.

Scopus Ranking and Its Significance

Scopus is recognized as one of the world’s largest and most authoritative abstract and citation databases.
