University of Birjand’s Growth Center Showcases Technological Capabilities to Helmand Province Delegation from Afghanistan

Birjand, Iran — The technological capacities and achievements of companies based at the University of Birjand’s Growth Center were presented to a commercial and political delegation from Helmand Province, Afghanistan, during their visit to South Khorasan Science and Technology Park.

According to the University of Birjand’s Public Relations and Information Office, the visit took place on Tuesday, June 16, 2025, as part of efforts to expand economic and technological collaborations between South Khorasan Province and Helmand Province.

During the program, the delegation was introduced to the scientific, technological, and innovative capabilities of the University of Birjand and the provincial science and technology park. A highlight of the visit was a presentation by Pouya Gam Azma Tajhiz, a knowledge-based company located at the University’s Growth Center. Company representatives showcased their areas of expertise, technological products, technical capabilities, and specialized applications.

The visiting delegation gained firsthand insight into the available technological assets, creating valuable opportunities to introduce knowledge-based companies and explore new avenues for collaboration in technology, industry, and innovative businesses.
